Everything like Juice Extractors
Eating mounds of greens, or crunching through cupfuls of carrots, isn't a proposal that will win you much support at home. However, extract the juice and the task doesn't seem nearly as daunting. Even children will love the colorful, nutritious juices. A more concentrated, natural form of life-giving enzymes, minerals and vitamins will be hard to find. Fresh vegetable juice has energy-generating power. It improves well-being, can help to manage a variety of ailments, and is an anti-aging cocktail. It aids digestion, is effective as part of a weight-loss program, and has a myriad other benefits.

Deciding which vegetable juicer or juice extractor to buy, will depend entirely on your needs. These are just some of the factors you may want to take into consideration:

1. The space you have available.
2. How often you will use the vegetable juicer.
3. The quantity of juice the machine must be able to handle.
4. Ease of assembly and disassembly.
5. The different functions of the juicer.
6. The noise level when in use.
7. How time-consuming the cleaning process is.
8. The back-up offered by the manufacturer.
9. The price, which can be anything from $80 to $3000.10. Your physical strength and stamina.
As far as juice quality is concerned, your choice will be influenced by your knowledge of and beliefs about aspects such as the heat generated during processing, the amount of oxidation present, the taste and flavor of the juice, juice stability, nutrient extraction efficiency, and nutrient retention.A single-gear or twin-gear masticating vegetable juicer runs at a lower speed and generates less heat. This preserves all the goodness in the juice and minimizes oxidation.

Yours Juice Extractors

Because there are so many different models of juice extractors on the market to choose from it can be fairly confusing to know which one to purchase. Below I have outlined specific things to consider before deciding which juicer is right for you.
Ease of Use and Clean Up

A kitchen appliance is of little value if it is complicated to use or requires the the user to spend too much time for set up and clean up. If clean up is messy, forget it! Juicers are used on a daily basis, and if it isn't easy and quick to use then it will have little value in your life.

Percentage Yield

Look to the product specification to see what percentage of juice Vs pulp/waste it yields to get the maximum juice. Juicers that eject the pulp outside the machine yield less juice than juicers that keep the pulp in the basket. How important is it to you to have pulp-free juice?

Type of Appliance

Centrifugal Juicers: Create oxidation that degrades nutrients over time. Juices need be drank right away. Masticating Juicers: Low speed units produce a higher quality juice because they produce less oxidation. High speed units can produce too much heat that can destroy nutrients. Hydraulic Press Juicers: Produce very little oxidation and are touted to make the highest nutrient juice.

All check out features for juice extractor

Most inexpensive juicers aren't built for daily use, as blades and motors may wear out more quickly. The Jack LaLanne juicer, for example, has just a 90-day warranty.

Centrifugal ejection juicers are the best all-purpose choice. This type of juice extractor is the best blend of ease of use, well-rounded functionality and price. These models eject pulp into a separate container so that you don't have to stop to dump out a pulp basket. Centrifugal juicers (which do not eject pulp) often squeeze more juice from fruit and vegetables, but they are more cumbersome to clean.

If you want to juice hard vegetables and leafy greens, look a masticating or double-auger juicer. Masticating and double-auger machines (such as the Champion Household, Omega 8005 and Green Star 3000 juicers) work differently and use a slow, grinding motor speed, so high wattage is not necessary.

Buying a cheap juicer

If you are not sure what to look for when buying a juicer then see our juicer articles on the right hand side such as juicer reviews. For those looking for a machine that will perform well in a commercial environment such as a juice bar, restaurant or health club please see our commercial juicers section

The list of juicers below provides links to features, reviews and information for each of the juicers listed. The juicers below are common popular juicers and the information given should give you a good basis for making your choice. As everyone is different the final choice of juicer will depend on your own personal tastes.

Buying a cheap juicer may work out more expensive in the long run as they can give lower juice yields and the motors tend to wear out quicker meaning you have to buy another one.
